St Agaths's Skeeby

In 2023 the decision was taken, with the agreement of the diocese and with a heavy heart to, to close St Agatha’s Skeeby for public worship and put the building up for sale. The latest news is that it looks like a sale is proceeding.

Good news!
The sale of St Agatha’s Skeeby finally went through last week. While we are aware this marks the end of an era and is still a source of sadness for some people, nevertheless it does mean that the church finances are much improved. Please pray for the PCC as it considers how best to use the £123,000 we have received in a way that glorifies God, not least because there are so many worthwhile options.
As a Parish we would like to reassure you that we will continue to work with the community of Skeeby village. We will continue to work closely with the village hall to offer services throughout the year as well as any other support the village may need. Even though the building is no longer part of the church we will continue to work closely with the village.
