What an incredible morning at the Hub Café Bake Off 2025! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this wonderful event. The array of delicious sweet treats was truly a feast for the senses—the table looked spectacular and the aromas were simply irresistible.
A special thank you to our talented bakers for their creativity and effort, and an even bigger shout-out to our esteemed judges: Sue from North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre, Alison and the Station Manager from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service, and Martin, Clerk of Brompton-on-Swale Parish Council. We deeply appreciate the time and enthusiasm you shared with us today.
Thank you all for making this event such a success—we can’t wait to do it again! Together we have raised £212.30! This will go directly to buying material/curtains for St Paul's Hub to help with the sound quality. Improving the sound quality will truly benefit everyone who uses the space. A huge congratulations to Diana for her well-deserved victory in today’s Bake Off! Her creation truly impressed the judges, and her talent and hard work shone through. What an incredible achievement—well done, Diana!
" The Hub cafe is well run. When entering the building one of the team immediatly welcomes you, establises what drink and cake you would like and shows you to your seat. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is well set out "

" I see the cafe as a place for people to come and meet and talk to others. It is especially helpful for those who live on their own, like me. As i live alone i always enjoy my visits to the Hub Cafe. It is nice to socialise with others and meet new people. It is good for my wellbeing. Thank you for providing this service in the community "
